YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you love working outdoors? This Yard/Operational Team Member position is responsible for gathering materials and loading items quickly, safely, and with a forward-thinking mentality. The Yard/Operational Team Member position is apart of our 1st shift team (M-F).
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Stage pre-picked material in the defined locations in or around the production facility using forklift equipment
- Unload stock lumber and sheathing products from inbound delivery trucks and place them in the designated stock locations
- Rotate stock based on the date of delivery
- Maintain material storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
- Perform final inspections on loads to ensure material accuracy and load securement
- Assemble trailers for delivery to the job site
- Stack and assemble roof and floor truss orders
- Operate spotter truck to move trailers around in production and yard areas
- Other duties as assigned
YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
- Forklift experience preferred
- Your background involves putting customers first
- You have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a team
