X-Ray Technician

MFS Talent is looking for a X-ray Tech in the Pleasanton, CA area. Starting pay rates are $60-$65/hr working variable shifts. 5/8's days and night shifts no overnight shifts. Candidates need to to have 2 years of experience as an X-ray Tech. If you are interested please apply today.

Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and other medical imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to safety protocols and aseptic techniques to minimize risks and maintain a clean and sterile environment.

Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with various medical imaging modalities, including CT, mammography, sonography, and ER procedures.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation techniques and the ability to interpret scan results accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
