Duties You will rescript a wide range of technical and non-technical material. You will recommend format changes and develop constructive recommendations for solving significant rewrites. You will edit clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, reference currency/accuracy and consistency with other information provided by the agency. You will maintain an electronic regulations control register/log and historical documentation to include, notes, emails, comments and questions during the routing process for all USU Directives. You will educate and trains staff on recordkeeping and files maintenance procedures. You will analyze and participate, and lead records management meetings, operations, including review of retention and disposition processes and procedures. You will utilize the Microsoft Suite and other software programs to edit and create documents. You will utilize manual and electronic record keeping, document imaging and micrographic technologies as they pertain to records creation, use, retrieval and maintenance using those techniques and technologies. You will communicate at various levels clearly; both orally and in writing to prepare and present findings and recommend solutions in the area of records management. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: writing and editing materials for publication and educate staff on recordkeeping and files maintenance procedures. Educational substitution for GS-09: Successful completion of a completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
