Wound Care Nurse

We are currently seeking a Full time Certified RN Wound Care Nurse. A completed employment application is required for consideration at EOE.

Basic Responsibilities:

Assess deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns pressure injuries and diabetic wounds.

Knowledge and Skills
- Strong leadership skills, effective communication and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with residents, families and staff
- Considerable knowledge and application of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports

Minimum Education and Experience
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Wound Care Certification preferred
- Experience in a long-term health care setting preferred
