Skilled Nursing Healthcare -
Wound Care Nurse Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
- Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurses on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
- Evaluate high-risk patients for pressure reduction intervention methods
- Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
- Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents
Wound Care Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a self-starter, hard-working and dedicated professional willing to join our team.
- Current and valid RN or LPN license in the State of IL
- Active CPR Certificate
- Point Click a Plus
- Wound care certification desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and a team player
