The Kids Worship Team Lead is responsible for managing the Kids Worship content and teams in the Flying Ferris Wheel, Rocking Roller Coaster, and Mix56 rooms, during weekend services. This position reports to the Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen (or Campus Worship Pastor if there is no one yet in the NextGen role) and assists them in developing the Kids Worship team's leadership skills, encouraging them to build their awareness of leading the room, and modeling a heart for worship. The Team Lead works closely with the Kids staff during weekend services to make sure that services run smoothly and the worship teams are doing their part to help kids learn about God while having fun. Principal Job Responsibilities: TEAM DEVELOPMENT Regular rotation in Kids weekend services 3-4 times each month, (typically serving as the primary Worship Leader in the Mix room), with at least 1 weekend scheduled off platform to be available for providing feedback for the teams. Provide strategic feedback to team members, under the supervision of the Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen, as it relates to team development, i.e., leading the rooms, leadership ability, craft skill levels. Regular meetings with teams for spiritual development and relational connection, i.e. "family time." Assist the Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen with the campus' Kids Coaching series. CAMPUS COLLABORATION Regular oversights with the Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen for Kids Worship vision and tasks. Regularly connects with Kids Service Supervisors to coordinate scheduling team members and regulating needs in the rooms. Attend campus meetings with the Kids Pastors, with hourly approval from Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen, and maintain relationships with Kids staff. Scheduled for Kids Summer Week event. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES Communicate with and schedule Kids weekend teams in Planning Center Online with oversight approval of Associate Campus Worship Pastor for NextGen. Posts weekly song lists in PCO for Kids weekend worship services.
