I ve a position of Workday Tester Payroll & ERP .

Location: New York, NY

Job Description:

Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents for Workday Payroll and ERP implementations.

Execute test cases manually and/or automate test scripts using testing tools to verify the functionality, accuracy, and performance of Workday Payroll and ERP modules.

Perform end-to-end testing of Workday Payroll and ERP processes, including payroll processing, benefits administration, HR management, finance, and other integrated modules.

Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and discrepancies found during testing using defect tracking tools, and collaborate with developers and functional teams to resolve them.

Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Participate in test strategy planning, estimation, and coordination with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with business users to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and obtain sign-off for Workday Payroll and ERP implementations.

Provide support and assistance during implementation go-live activities, including data migration, configuration changes, and production support.

Document test results, findings, and recommendations in test summary reports and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stay updated on Workday Payroll and ERP releases, updates, patches, and new features, and assess their impact on existing implementations and testing strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Workday Payroll & ERP Tester or similar role, with at least X years of hands-on experience in testing Workday HCM and Financials modules.

Strong understanding of Workday Payroll and ERP functionalities, configurations, and integration points.

Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday Payroll and ERP implementations.

Proficiency in using testing tools such as Client ALM, JIRA, or similar tools for test management, execution, and defect tracking.

Knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and standards related to Workday Payroll and ERP testing.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Workday certification(s) such as Workday HCM or Financials Certified Consultant is a plus.

Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar tools is a plus.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
