The Opportunity:

Minda has a unique opportunity for a Work Health & SafetyBusiness Partner to work with leaders and employees to provideadvice & support in all areas of WHS to achieve a safety-firstculture. This role will enjoy a high level of autonomypartnering with leaders across the business to:

  • Provide advice, coaching and support to leaders & staffacross the full remit of WHS.
  • Build organisational capability through the delivery oftraining and ongoing education.
  • Implement solutions for the prevention and earlyintervention of WHS issues.
  • Assist to develop and implement WHS systems, policies, andprocedures.
  • Review incident reporting trends to inform a continuousimprovement approach to WHS.
  • Ensure WHS is embedded into practice to achieve a strongsafety culture at Minda.
  • Proven experience as an Advisor and/ or Business Partnerlevel, providing specialist advice, support and coaching toLeaders in Work Health & Safety.
  • Knowledge of the WHS Act, regulations, Codes of Practiceand Australian Standards.
  • Strong communication skills to build stakeholderrelationships, consult and coach.
  • Able to work with autonomy to problem solve, managepriorities & work to deadlines.
  • A knowledge of investigation methodologies for incidents,and experience implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuous improvement outlook and experience developingpolicies & procedures.
  • Tertiary Qualification in WHS and/ or significantexperience in WHS related roles.
  • An understanding of the Self Insurance PerformanceStandards/AS 4801.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
  • Able to travel to other SA metro sites from time totime.
