Role: WMS Consultant
Onsite Location: Charlotte, NC
Mode of hire: Fulltime with Aspire Systems
Requirement:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a techno-functional consultant, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, POS).
- Proficiency in Oracle Forms and PL/SQL for customizations and reporting. Knowledge of industry-standard WMS modules (e.g., inventory management, order fulfillment, pick-pack-ship processes).
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
- Experience with system configuration, data migration, and user training. Certifications related to WMS (e.g., Manhattan WMOS, Oracle WMS Cloud, Blue Yonder WMS) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements related to warehouse operations.
- Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Design and develop WMS solutions based on industry best practices and client-specific needs.
- Develop functional specifications, including process flows, data mappings, and system requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to implement customizations and enhancements within the WMS system.
- Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide end-user training and support during system rollouts.
- Troubleshoot issues related to WMS functionality, data integrity, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in WMS technology.
