The Community Care Care Director monitors compliance, risk management and other factors directly related to this department. The responsibilities of the position are staff scheduling, hiring, terminations, orientation & training, disciplinary action, supervising of medication management, management of the resident care staff, physician rounds, processing of orders to include physicians orders, lab, diagnostic and medication orders, pharmacy exchange & routine med cart audits. Conduct weekly case conference with our 3rd party home health provider. This position is also responsible for resident assessments, service plans, incident reporting and maintaining resident files working within the electronic health records software. Interfacing with families and responsible parties of the resident, addressing complaints, concerns and holding family meetings. All directors and managers will report to Executive Director when any inspector or official agency arrives at the property.
