Wellness Advisor

POSITION SUMMARY: The Wellness Advisor will oversee the supplement and Health and Beauty Aids section of Nature's Wonders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists customers on the supplement aisle(s) and in the Health and Beauty Aids section. Tracks sales and inventory in the Health and Beauty Aids section and ordering product, as necessary. Orders in a timely and efficient manner to reduce out of stocks. Assists Supplement Coordinator with determining products to discontinue or increase quantities. Establishes relationships with representatives. Follows budget set by Director of Purchasing and tracks spending. Travels to trade shows or trainings when necessary Attends educational dinners or other similar opportunities. Provides requested information to social media/marketing by given deadlines. Checks work email daily and follow up accordingly. Assists with cashier and barista duties as needed. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY Knowledge of DSHEA rules and guidelines Follows DSHEA rules and guidelines Excellent organizational skills and attention to details Adaptability to new processes and procedures Experience in a customer service environment Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at one time. The ability to move freely around your workspace. Sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing may be necessary physical requirements for this position. INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT: Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
