CoWorx Staffing has immediate opening for Welders in North Billerica, MA Area.
Responsibilities:
-Assembly of vacuum furnaces (including piping, frames, gas distribution systems, etc)
-Operation and testing of vacuum furnaces (including loading, monitoring, unloading, fluid evaluation/changes as needed, insulation repair/replacement as required)
-Field service of vacuum furnaces and components.
-Shipping and receiving, including incoming order inspections. Order inspections will include the use of micrometers, tape measures, and angle measurements.
Desired Background/Skills:
-High School diploma or equivalent
-4-5 years experience welding with MIG & TIG stainless and mild steel
-Some assembly and/or operation of vacuum equipment.
-Some experience with installation, testing, trouble shooting & commissioning of industrial equipment and electronic instrumentation & process controls.
-Understanding of piping and instrument diagrams, assembly drawings.
-Incoming and sub-assembly inspection.
-TIG & MIG welding skills
-Thorough understanding of mechanical drawings and welding symbols.
-Ability to work off Piping & Instrument Diagrams, assembly drawings.
-Mechanical skills, including working with hand tools, cranes, lifts and fork trucks.
-Computer skills: MS Office
-Hands-on installation of instrumentation and process control
-Must be US Citizen
Other Information:
With this position, there may be some overtime, weekend or shift work on a periodic basis based on manufacturing workload as well as 10-20% travel to customer sites for system installation and field service.
