Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitiation at St. Camillus, Fairfield County's premier 124 bed LTC and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, Saturday and Sunday, for our 11p-7a shift.
The Registered Nurse Supervisor must:
- Be responsible for the overall operation and quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.
- Be able to follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and the Nursing Policies and Procedures.
- Have the ability to read, write and comprehend English; the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Have an Interest in the nursing needs of aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
- Have to ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties and work within a team system
- Be available to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment. on call, as necessary.
- Minimum one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
- Have knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including the administration of medications
- CPR/IV certified
Qualified Applicants will possess:
- A Valid State of Connecticut RN License
- At least one year of experience within Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility setting
- Have previous experience in a Supervisor role within a SNF
