Bonus Pay Insight Xcite is looking for talented folks who can help us expand our Enterprise Solutions practice. We have Software Developer positions to fill supporting active projects onsite with a client in the Northern Virginia area. The successful candidate will help implement new features for complex, mission-critical, enterprise applications that bring data and features together with innovative user experiences. If this is you, or someone you know, we'd love to chat. Responsibilities:
-Design and develop solutions to meet Sponsor mission requirements
-Maintain a good understanding of the sponsor's business needs
-Provide integration support with external systems and data sources
-Define data tables in relational databases and implement business logic
-Customize existing applications, facilitate roll out of new applications and modules, and design and develop application UI, workflow, and API
-Follow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering capabilities
-Implement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications
-Provide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development Required Qualifications
Eligibility
TS/SCI With Full Scope Poly Clearance is required
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Web Development
-Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or developmental language
-Demonstrated experience using relational databases
-Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and -process management Communications
-Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Fully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Education
-Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Master's with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience Desired Qualifications
Web Development
-Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation Platform Development
-Experience integrating custom applications with enterprise software and platforms, e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc. Communications
-Experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement solutions
-Ability to develop briefing slides
-Demonstrated experience with project management tools
-Development of reports according to ongoing customer needs
-Demonstrated experience formatting, layouts, coordinate complex text and graphics for management -briefings What it takes:
