Waveform Engineer II with Security Clearance

Our firm is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to support our customer in Fort Meade, Maryland as a Waveform Engineer who will be responsible for:
Analyzing and/or reverse-engineering waveforms, provide informational briefings for team understanding Programming RF equipment and/or software defined radios to receive, demodulate, and parse data. Programming RF equipment and/or software defined radios to generate, transmit, and capture data. Communicating findings and progress in written reports. Demonstrating knowledge in working with RF laboratory equipment such as signal generators. Providing evaluations of systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications. Developing system security documentation on both new and fielded information systems. Maintaining adversary knowledge to create and or recommend solutions to various DoD customers.
Documenting vulnerabilities in well written reports and support COA analysis Reviewing various software designs and provide feedback in a detailed report for customer recommendations and feedback for optimized performance. Providing recommended modifications to improve both systems and specifications. Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science from a four-year college in Engineering. Fourteen (14) years of work experience in waveform development on various RF DoD systems and working with RF laboratory equipment and/or software defined radios. Considerable experience in adversary technological capabilities and the various techniques to overcome or avoid exploitation. Prior experience securing data for DoD based LPI/LPD/LPE communication systems. Familiarity with current DoD systems, DoD/Commercial Waveforms. Experience communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions. Security Clearance with an appropriate agency Polygraph is required.
