Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a Water-Wastewater Project Engineer for immediate employment in the Glen Allen, VA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Provides technical support for a variety of utility design related projects, including pump/booster stations, water line and collection line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.

Coordinates multi-discipline design efforts

Supports project managers in the execution of all types of utility design projects

Supports client-related activities, including marketing and proposal development

Technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team

Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.

Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

Prepares technical specification sections.

Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
