Job Details

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in pump repair is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Water Pump Technician, with a background in repairing Submersible, Centrifugal, and Turbine pumps.
• Strong knowledge of pump mechanics, including pump types, components, and operation principles.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment for pump repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve pump-related issues efficiently.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a variety of pump brands and models, including pumps used in groundwater, wastewater, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with pump control systems, including electrical panels, starters, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and predictive maintenance techniques for pumps.
• Certification or training in pump repair, such as through a trade school or manufacturer-sponsored program.
