POSITION: Warehouse Technician STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Technician is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and smooth workflow. We are seeking a driven individual with high energy and a passion for inventory control, operational processes, and quality assurance. The warehouse technician is an integral member of the team and will collaborate with production teams to control and deliver materials needed for the manufacturing process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, implementing proper labeling and organization systems to facilitate efficient picking and replenishment processes.
  • Utilize MRP software (Dynamic 365) to monitor inventory levels, track product demand, and generate purchase orders or work orders.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Engage on a regular basis with procurement and production teams to ensure accurate inventory forecasting, availability of materials, and timely order fulfillment occurs.
  • Execute inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory at proper levels.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including preparing documentation, scheduling transportation, and ensuring on-time delivery of physical goods.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Examine forklifts daily and fill out checklist.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse technician role or a similar position
  • Experience utilizing MRP software to monitor inventory levels and track product demand.
  • Proven experience with generating purchase orders and/or work orders
  • Forklift certification (required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with executing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Very skilled at organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas including maintaining proper labeling and efficient picking and replenishment processes.
  • Possess a high level of communication with frequent engagement with procurement and production teams.
  • Skilled at coordinating shipping and receiving activities, including preparing documentation, scheduling transportation, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
