Duties & Responsibilities:
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day to day Cross-Docking operations for window covering products. This includes the process of unloading, sortation, palletizing, and ensuring damage-free ship-out.
- Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dockworkers, and dockhands
- Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and exceeded
- Monitor hours and overtime
- Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel
- Prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary
Qualifications:
- Shipping and/or Management experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Disciplined with attention to detail
- Team Focused with Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
