Rooms to Go is hiring an Operations Manager. This role will be located in a Distribution Center/Warehouse setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategically manage operations within the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
Supervises and motivates teams of employees, overseeing multiple departments
Manage reports, statistical analysis, and P&L reporting
Communicates with various levels of management and customers to ensure that customer expectations are met and issues are resolved, including turnaround time
Provide continual process improvements as well as implementation of new processes
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Essential Requirements
B.A. Degree and/or 4 years of management experience over multiple departments and shifts in a warehouse environment, high volume distribution preferred
Knowledge of warehouse operations including security procedures, improve loss-control programs, refining process control
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to calculate, analyze & apply business, financial & statistical data
Proven leadership, team building and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others
Strong computer skills, technical background is a plus
Be at least 18 years of age
Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
