Our company is seeking a Warehouse Manager to manage our Texas warehouse & fleet. Ensuring a smooth and consistent operation, and ensure materials are distributed to customers in an effective and efficient way as needed to satisfy clients' requirements. Manages all supervisors, leads & associates to ensure quality oriented process flow and time management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Creates an environment that drives positive employee relations, teamwork, and company pride.
- Maintain warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Ensures all employees are effectively trained and conducts retraining & cross-training to enhance employee development.
- Evaluate employee performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes to instill a continuous improvement culture.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Ensure all operations follow OSHA, and Company safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a distribution?leadership?position.
- Experience using a warehouse management system required, preferably Oracle / NetSuite.
- Process management & improvement experience preferred.
- Experience establishing performance metrics preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
