Our company is seeking a Warehouse Manager to manage our Texas warehouse & fleet. Ensuring a smooth and consistent operation, and ensure materials are distributed to customers in an effective and efficient way as needed to satisfy clients' requirements. Manages all supervisors, leads & associates to ensure quality oriented process flow and time management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates an environment that drives positive employee relations, teamwork, and company pride.
  • Maintain warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all employees are effectively trained and conducts retraining & cross-training to enhance employee development.
  • Evaluate employee performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes to instill a continuous improvement culture.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Ensure all operations follow OSHA, and Company safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a distribution?leadership?position.
  • Experience using a warehouse management system required, preferably Oracle / NetSuite.
  • Process management & improvement experience preferred.
  • Experience establishing performance metrics preferred.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
