Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Lincoln, NH to bring on Machine Operators. This is a full-time position and will be temp to hire.
Position: Machine Operator 1st shift: 7am-3:30 pm (Monday through Friday)
2 nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm (Monday through Friday)
3 rd shift 11pm - 7:30am (Monday through Saturday)
4 th shift: 6am-6pm (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Pay rate: 1 st - $17.29/HR
2 nd - $20.70/HR
3 rd - $21.79/HR
4 th - $19.36/HR
Job Description - Performs typical machine shop and press operations
- Operates a press production, braid winding, lathe or crimping machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, bills of material or other written instructions or procedures.
- Utilize hand tools such as a hand held screw driver and drill guns
- Maintain inventory of product in work stations
- Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and report it
- Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and timely data
- Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to complete assigned task
- Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues
Education and Training Requirements - Ability to read and interpret tape measure or measuring devices
- Machine Operator experience preferred
- Basic reading skills
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Ability to follow direction
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems
Pay Details: $17.29 to $21.00 per hour
