MATERIALS COORDINATOR - COVINA, CALIFORNIA
WEBCO HR, Inc. is seeking a Materials Coordinator for one of our clients located in Covina, California.
SUMMARY
The Materials Coordinator will oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of product, inventory/fixed assets, maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related documentation and reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Select inventory to fulfill customer orders according to packing slip and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Notify management of any discretions in inventory available to inventory needed to fulfill customer orders.
Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping.
Use computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment.
Process overnight courier (UPS, FedEx, OnTrack, etc.) shipments.
Pull and package/roll laminate for customer orders.
Stage orders for delivery and loading of trucks.
Lead and direct the work-load of other warehouse personnel.
Perform cycle count of inventory.
Perform deliveries within local area as needed.
Operate a forklift and pallet jacks.
Comply with health and safety programs.
Perform housekeeping duties within your work area maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
REDQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2-5 years of warehouse experience.
Previous leadership experience.
Experience operating a forklift.
Knowledge of computerized inventory management systems.
Experience with MS Word and Excel.
Have the ability to communicate effective throughout all levels of the organization.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certification is also a big plus.
COMPENSATION:
$23-$25 per hour.
