Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Gates, NY
Job Description:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately and safely. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts
- Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and easy access
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment
- Utilize SAP/ERP system for tracking and recording inventory
- Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of MS Office for basic computer tasks
- Some customer service experience is a plus
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to insert weight pounds)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player with good communication skills
Shift: Standard Day Shift (8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday)
Starting Rate: $18 an Hour
Job-Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
