Vulnerability Manager Location: Adelphi, Maryland Seeking a Vulnerability Manager that is experienced in Vulnerability Management and Scanning. This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Responsibilities: Perform vulnerability analysis and reporting Coordinate and collaborate with IT vulnerability patching staff to maximize the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program Produce daily ACAS scan results to the IT staff for vulnerability remediation Produce a set of reports monthly to provide analysis regarding the current vulnerability compliance status of the systems that fall under the ARL ATOs Complete individual scan requests within 2 business days Complete large scale scan requests within 3 business days Verify that IT staff install Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) agents on every agent supported system and technology Perform vulnerability scans on all assets under the ARL ATOs in compliance with DoD and Army regulations and best practices and ARL internal procedure requirements Notify the ARL IT staff of any deficiencies with ACAS agents, credential issues, or other technical issue that causes a deficiency in vulnerability scan results Track the deficiencies until brought into compliance Compare the asset lists to the vulnerability scans on a monthly basis to validate that all systems are being scanned Notify the IT staff and ISSM when discrepancies are identified Work with the IT staff to document any assets that cannot support vulnerability scanning and document to the applicable A&A package Ensure that all IT staff and system administrators who have vulnerability patching responsibilities are receiving detailed vulnerability scan results on a routine basis Perform vulnerability scanning during image development to ensure that all newly deployed systems are meeting compliance regulations Manage and maintain any vulnerability scanning applications to ensure it is configured as required for successful vulnerability scanning Analyze vulnerability data and provide detailed and actionable reports to the government showing vulnerability compliance status, deficiencies identified, and suggestions for compliance improvements for all systems within the ARL authorization boundaries. Required Skills: ACAS Scan experience Vulnerability scanning experience Vulnerability Remediation experience Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have a Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to acquire one Desired Skills: Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance Education and Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of Cybersecurity experience Two (2) years of vulnerability scanning experience About HigherEchelon, Inc.
