You and Your Job

As a VP - Rural Process Manager (Relationship/Portfolio Manager), you will be successful by using your subject matter expertise to effectively facilitate changes impacting process and systems utilized for business development activities within the Rural North America business.

The Rural Process Manager is responsible for development, management, testing and evaluation of processes and systems that support business development activities for the Rural North America business. This role will be responsible for providing the subject matter expertise and thought leadership to develop processes that provide a positive and efficient customer and employee experience. This position must translate the needs of clients and customer relationship teams within cross-functional initiatives to enhance the capabilities and offerings for the Rural Business. This person must possess sound understanding of lending, particularly in the rural domain, and supporting services such as treasury management, capital markets products and insurance products. The role will be responsible for partnering across domains to drive rural priorities and be the subject matter expert in the designated process area for initiatives driven by other domains with an impact to the rural process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Translates needs of clients related to complex financial products and able to design process for new and innovative products collaborating across the organization to contribute, evaluate and prepare business case.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for critical processes and systems including pricing, capital, CRM, underwriting and proprietary processes and systems used by relationship management teams.
  • Create a customer driven process for delivering products that also ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for executing new ideas and creating a sustainable model to ensure new products are adding value.
  • Accountable for the design and effectiveness of the lending processes resulting in decrease turnaround time, an improved customer experience, enhanced controls and increased employee satisfaction.
  • Builds strong relationships with Customer Relationship Teams and Business Risk functions, working collaboratively to solve complex problems identified through the course of day-to-day business, operational risk findings and audit results.
  • Responsible for providing the business ownership of key relationship management systems including prioritizing functionality requests and ensuring technology roadmaps meet the needs of the business.
  • Proactively works to identify training needs and partners with Learning & Development teams to provide content and expertise to strengthen training programs.
  • Works closely with Change Management teams to imbed process and domain change within business units.
  • Takes inventory of process to ensure compliance with regulation and policy ensuring process and procedure documentation is up to date and accurately reflects the realities across the business function.
  • Is accessible to end users for key process support to assist with execution of process to ensure the highest level of client service.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of financial products and concepts
  • Knowledge of financial business operations and reporting

  • Skilled in critical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.

  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of RAF/Rabobank/RDS 's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to RAF/Rabobank/RDS employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
