Position Overview
The Vice President of Owner Operator Leasing is responsible for the efficient productive day to day management of all aspects of the TEL's Owner Operator division in meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives as set by executive team.
Lead the Owner Operator divisional business operation with primary responsibility for identifying divisional target markets, setting pricing strategies, development of sales tactics, along with personnel management and development.
Manage cohesive relationships with all TEL support departments to ensure smooth process flows along with fiduciary duty compliance.
Manage carrier and lease purchase programs within the acceptable turnover expectations.
Ensure the establishment and maintenance of deep relationships with carrier program executive management teams.
Negotiate carrier agreements with potential carrier relationships.
Manage division to effect off-lease inventory at or below expectations of management team.
Meet divisional performance requirements as set by the executive team.
Continuously evaluate business infrastructure to determine operational capabilities and maximize efficiencies.
Develop and maintain strong cooperative relationships with TEL management, other revenue divisions and support departments teams.
Maintain and refine concise divisional reporting as appropriate to meet management's expectations.
Ensure compliance with state/federal commercial leasing/finance regulations.
Develop contingency plans to deal with critical situations and emergencies.
Perform other special projects as requested.
Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance the effectiveness of providing world-class service and support.
Requirements
BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance
10+ years in commercial equipment financing, lease purchase management or related role.
Strong experience with used truck values and condition standards.
Strong experience in building lease models and analytics.
Deep experience with Excel, leasing, fix asset and other related business software system development, integration and documentation.
Strong sales and project management skills; ability to lead projects and influence others to obtain buy-in.
Ability to work and communicate well with others.
Strong internal and external customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Be a forward thinker and suggest process improvements.
Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Team oriented and able to take direction and effectively manage with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Strong professional presence along with excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
Strong understanding of lease accounting, lease finance origination, servicing processes and procedures.
