We're seeking a talented individual to join the Financing and Liquidity Management and Strategy team within Markets.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Support the of Head of Financing and Liquidity's in the execution of the group's strategic initiatives
  • Track performance to organizational goals, identify a path to green where blocks exist and communicate progress throughout the year to various audiences
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the organization, connecting dots to drive efficiencies, resolve issues where appropriate and identify decision points for escalation to the Head of the Financing and Liquidity
  • Create and maintain an operating rhythm for leadership meetings, management and performance reporting. Assemble materials for these meetings, track takeaways and drive to completion
  • Develop and execute client engagement strategy across Financing and Liquidity to drive commercial value across the organization and find synergies across our client base
  • Coordiate with cross-organizational business leaders to generate weekly and quarterly management reporting, cascade key points weekly to senior leadership in Markets
  • Partner closely with Finance and Human Resources to track progress to hiring plans and ensure compliance with budget, partner to navigate inquiries for additional spend
  • Prepare the Head of Financing and Liquidity for engagement for various forums, ranging from client and internal meetings to industry events

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required
  • Exceptional presentation skills and experience creating commercial and high-quality decks
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner with senior executives to assist in driving key initiatives
  • Strategic thinker who has an eye for detail, is organized, and can manage multiple initiatives/workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills are critical for this role. Data / BI skills preferable.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
