Oversee and expand Insurance Program for Commercial Lines Products Lead team and channels marketing and underwriting insurance policies Utilize company underwriting models and industry knowledge to evaluate risk. Evaluate loss control, financial, and similar underwriting data. Provide competitive underwriting proposal and rate recommendations. Assist with manuscript endorsement drafting and ensure accuracy of policy documents. Calculate collateral requirements and lead account review meetings. Identify improvements to company's underwriting processes. Assist internal sales force with marketing efforts through customer and agency visits. Monitor book of accounts to ensure profitability and make recommendations regarding action needed. Review junior underwriter quote recommendations to ensure compliance with pricing guidelines. Conduct industry and competitor research to identify new business opportunities. Serve as subject matter expert for queries related to commercial auto, occupational accident, and commercial property & casualty underwriting practices.
