Job Description

Provide administration for computer-controlled telephony switching systems (TWS), Local Session Controller (LSC), Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM), Voice Gateways (VG350/VG450), VoSIP, Session Border Controllers (SBC), Unity Voice Mail administrator, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC).

Develop and direct the implementation of Unified Communications Systems (UC), including voice, facsimile, VTC and voice messaging.

Integrate voice and data networks.

Develop and recommend IT hardware and software for proposed standardized UC Communications Voice, VoSIP and VTC systems, new equipment configurations, interfaces, systems compatibility, and contingency interface requirements.

Operate, program, maintain, and monitor the Cisco Call Manager, VoIP, VoSIP and VTC Unified Communications Systems.

Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of switch operations to ensure successful call connectivity and integrity of voice, data, and video circuitry.

Test, troubleshoot, modify, analyze, and restore electronic equipment used in voice and data circuits.

Detect, locate, and repair malfunctions in the VoIP, VoSIP and VTC Unified Communications Systems while completing adds, moves, deletes, changes and modification of voice, data, and video circuits.
