Visa Sponsorship Available - Northern New Hampshire Hospitalist Job
• Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible family medicine or internal medicine hospitalist
• You'd work mostly day shifts, 7 on/7 off
• Established hospitalist group
• 5 bed adult ICU and stepdown unit
• 1 doc works during the day, 7a-7p
• 1 works at night 7p-7a
• An additional rounder works 2-4 hours per morning (depending on the census
• Typical workload for day hospitalist:
• 2 to 4 admissions or consults
• Rounds on, discharge, or transfer 6 to 12 patients
• Total patient encounters 8 to 16
• May supervise stress tests during selected day shifts (training provided if necessary)
• Typical workload for night hospitalist:
• 2-4 admissions or consults
• Assess 1-2 patients at bedside due to instability or change in clinical condition
• If hospitalist clinical work is done or slow and solo ED physician is very busy, hospitalist is expected to help in ED with care of clinically appropriate patients
• Requirements:
• Endotracheal intubation
• Ventilator management (initial, maintenance, withdrawal)
• Use of BiPAP and CPAP
• Manage codes via ACLS protocols
• Must have BLS, ACLS
• You'd run codes with the ED physician on duty
• Preference is for physicians who can provide care for pediatrics (not a requirement)
• H1-B and J-1 visa candidates will be considered
