The Part-time Licensed School Psychologist conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations; consults with school personnel and parents regarding planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group interventions; and functions as a member of the building-based Student Support Team in providing services to students. This is a virtual position with a limited in-person work will be required throughout the year. Indiana Residency is REQUIRED Responsibilities Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines Familiarity with evaluation tools Complete Initial Evaluation and Re-evaluations Complete Assessment Plans, Review of Records and FBAs Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed Present evaluation findings at meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination Excellent knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices Participating in training and meetings as needed Attend Evaluation meetings to discuss results of assessments Serve as a member on the MTSS/RTI Team Skills/Qualifications State required certifications Professional Indiana License Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and / or company welfare Demonstrated leadership and management ability Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks to meet deadlines consistently Ability to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and from more senior team members Ability to work independently and contribute to a team Understanding and ability to manage confidential information Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY It is our policy to abide by all federal, state and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based solely on a person's race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, childbirth, physical disability, mental and/or intellectual disability, age, military status, veteran status (including protected veterans), marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, familial status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition, genetic information, sexual orientation, or any other protected status except where a reasonable, bonafide occupational qualification exists.
