The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world. What is your role and surroundings? The role of a VIE - HSES Coordinator is to guarantee, according to national legislation, the respect and the enforcement of the Group's HSE policy. What will be your main missions? Analyse the site risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions: the level of industrial safety; and respect of the environment, Propose an annual HSE action plan to the site management, Assist with bringing the site into compliance with applicable company HSES mandatory rules, and other requirements, Coach and support the site management and employees and make aware of and fulfil the requirements of Faurecia HSES policies and related tools, Participate in Faurecia's HSE network, Monitor legal compliance and manage the site's relations with the local government and regulatory organizations, Provide engineering support to ensure new equipment safety design, new process evaluations, new chemical evaulations, and life safety codes, Measure and analyse Health and Safety performance factors that impact company business, Prepare regulatory compliance documentation and maintain accurate filing system. Provide prompt and accurate preparation and composition of correspondence, documents and reports, including those with confidential information, Fulfill the reporting requirements: AMS, HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, ), Organize and drive HSE audits, coachings, and trainings, Carry out accident/incident investigations, Stay informed of environmental aspects, follow procedures and work to eliminate or reduce the FMEA ratings as relates to position and/or department. Participate in Hoshin and continuous improvement activities as assigned. Practice and enforce 5S standards Assist with Worker's Compensation case management tasks that include working with insurance companies, medical personnel, identify "Light duty" jobs for early and safe return to work programs Assist in all environmental functions, activities, policies, and directions; develop, implement and maintain ISO 14001 certification programs; coordinate health and safety compliance to TS16949 Standards. Facilitate the HSES Core Teams and coordination of HSES new hire orientations. Work with cross functional team to ensure HSE standards are met. o Complete all other duties and tasks as assigned What you need to join us? Master's degree/Engineering diploma in HSE Previous HSE experience is advantageous. English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world Knowledge of HSE tools and methods: AMDEC, 5 Why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001,and working knowledge of OSHA standards General knowledge of automotive production plant technologies Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
