Chaminade College Preparatory seeks an experienced and visionary educational leader to join our high school leadership team in the role of Vice Principal of Academics and Curriculum to advance Chaminade's mission and strategic vision plan.

The Vice Principal for Academics and Curriculum has primary leadership responsibilities for planning, implementing, and coordinating the educational program of Chaminade College Preparatory High School . In assuming these responsibilities, the Vice Principal will work closely with the Principal's Council, Academic Leadership Team, and faculty.

The Vice Principal supports Chaminade's mission and the Characteristics of Marianist Education. The Vice Principal also assures quality services to students, faculty, staff, parents, and outside organizations. The Vice Principal works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and campus administrators to assist the school principal in the overall administration of instructional programs, student services, and campus operations while furthering our mission to inspire young people to love, learn, and lead through our Catholic and Marianist traditions of a living faith, academic excellence, and moral responsibility.


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree and/or teaching credential is preferred. Prior teaching and/or administrator experience in a Catholic high school is strongly preferred.


Salary and Benefits

This is a salaried/exempt from overtime position. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. This is an exempt, 12-month per year position with responsibility to teach one class each semester.
