Job Details

We are seeking an experienced, Vice President of Sales to join our team. This position plays a critical role in shaping and driving our company's sales strategy and vision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the company's sales targets are met. This role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate salespeople as needed.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to company goals.
2. Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
3. Oversee all sales operations and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues.
4. Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
5. Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately.
6. Develop specific plans to ensure long term growth.
7. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
9. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
10. Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the company leadership team.
11. Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs.
12. Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

Qualifications:
1. 15 to 20 years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans.
3. Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
4. Experience in customer relationship management.
5. Experience managing and directing a sales team.
6. Must have "Stop Loss" Experience
7. Dedication to providing great customer service.
8. Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
9. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
10. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
11. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
12. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
13. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
14. Demonstrable experience in developing strategic business partnerships.
15. Experience in budget management, forecasting, lead generation, and account management.
16. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, MBA preferred.
