About this role:
Seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales who has a proven track record in B2B sales. This critical role will be responsible for sales and marketing of products across North America. We are seeking a hands-on leader to continue BarSplice Product's growth and impact within the concrete construction industry.
As the Vice President of Sales for BarSplice Products Inc. your duties will include:
- Maintain and develop relationships with key players in and out of the industry.
- Data-driven, analytic skills to ensure we maximize sales and profitability in every distribution channel across North America.
- Manage and develop a world-class sales organization through coaching, teaching, mentoring, and motivation; this includes team members in multiple locations.
- Expert understanding of an omni-channel sales approach, including overall sales strategies, leveraging pricing, and marketing opportunities.
- Meet and exceed business plan objectives; this includes ensuring that long term business plans support business strategy.
- Evaluate, develop, and execute salesforce strategies to best serve and expand our customer base.
- Ensure that our customer service team continues to set the bar with world-class service for our customers and continues to innovate and improve the customer experience.
- Lead the business by personal example, demonstrating the standard of expectation for ethical conduct, professionalism, performance, and personal development.
- Oversee expert and in-depth analysis of market and customer trends to establish strategy.
- Direct go-to-market product launches, with a focus on margins, market, and customer needs to achieve long term success and exceed growth targets.
- Establish and maintain effective communication between team members and support groups.
- Provide marketplace intelligence to show emerging market opportunities, both geographically and product driven.
- Lead the business planning process by developing sales forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and maintain competitor information for benchmarking purposes.
- Participate in policy decision-making for BarSplice Products and parent company, FC Industries, Inc.
Requirements:
Qualifications for the Vice President of Sales for BarSplice Products Inc.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years industry experience, 10 years of which must include sales management.
- 5+ years in the construction products industry, mechanical splices for rebar is a plus.
- Experience with developing and executing tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
- Experience managing complex inventory and distributions channels.
- Is highly organized and has effective time management skills.
- Has extensive knowledge in ERP systems. New ERP system integration is a plus.
- Has extensive experience with CRM systems.
