Vice President of Land Development:

Lennar is seeking a Vice President of Land Development who will be responsible for overall management of land development department. Must maintain an understanding of current market trends in land development and homebuilding.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor and manage individuals and team to ensure top performance of all team members in achieving desired results while finding efficient and effective solutions that create overall organizational value
  • Responsible for timely and accurate installation of all land development improvements
  • HOA Management
  • Oversee and coordinate planning, permit and construction process and effectively forecast long-term schedules and budgets
  • Manages Project Consultants and Business Partners (contractors) on residential land development projects; these may include but not limited to Planners, Engineers, Attorneys, Environmental Scientists and Excavation/Utility Contractors.
  • This position must ensure timely and accurate design and installation of all land development improvements including but not limited to grading operations, water and sewer services, dry utilities, paving and sidewalks, hardscapes and landscape and landscape improvements, and compliance with NPDES and SWPPP regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or similar program required
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Land Development
  • Must posses strong managerial background
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Valid current auto insurance coverage.
  • Computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software.
  • Knowledge of sales/negotiating principles and real estate.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations.
