Responsibilities

Open Sky is seeking an experienced financial professional to play a crucial role in driving financial strategy and decision making by enhancing, overseeing, and executing a high performing financial planning and data analytics system. Under the supervision of the Chief Operating and Financial Officer, the Vice President will lead a high performing financial planning and analytics team, collaborate with various departments to optimize financial performance, guide business planning, and support strategic initiatives within the agency. The Vice President of Financial Planing and Analysis will also have experience with budget management, forecasting and reporting, team leadership and strategic decision support.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and trends.
  • Identify key performance indicators and establish metrics to measure and drive financial success.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning.

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in financial planning and analysis, required.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams, required.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, ex cellent communication and presentation skills, required.

  • Extensive experience overseeing a broad continuum of financial services, financial data visualization, and analytics experience, required.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, required.
