Oversee the month-end close process and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for our US and UK operations. Instruct and review the journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the accounting staff. Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate bill processing and payments. Instruct and review the accounts payable activities by the accounting staff including employee reimbursements and credit card activities. Oversee accounts receivable by liaising with company and client project leads to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections. Manage and supervise US and UK tax compliance. Lead the review of tax related analysis and filings prepared by external tax advisors and internal accounting staff. Supervise and guide accounting staff with payroll processing and benefits administration in the US and UK. Research and implement applicable accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP. Lead annual audits to ensure timely and successful issuance of the audited financial statements including communications with the Chief Financial Officer and Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Evaluate business needs and analyze financial KPIs to support executive team decision making and support the companys growth. Work with the Chief Financial Officer to lead financial reporting, planning and analysis, including overseeing preparation of monthly management and Board reporting, updating financial forecasts, analyzing budget-to-actual results and ongoing cash flow forecast updates. Serve as the main point of contact with the Companys banks and lenders including ensuring compliance with debt covenants, reporting, annual audits and debt facility renewals. Work with the Chief Financial Officer to support future financing transactions including investor presentations, due diligence reviews and supporting deal closing efforts. Optimize the accounting function to support long-term company growth, develop best-practice processes and automate through technology. Supervise accounting staff, provide guidance, and career development opportunities. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree in Accounting, or related field or foreign degree equivalent plus 3 years of experience in accounting or related fields such as tax and financial planning and analysis. The experience (which may be gained concurrently) must also include each of the following: 3 years of experience in public accounting; 3 years of working with multinational companies; 3 years in dealing with non-US financial and tax related matters; 3 years of experience in one of the following: auditing, financial analysis and planning, or compliance; 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency with Excel and Visio; 3 years of experience with corporate, state and local taxes; 3 years of experience with SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP software; and 3 years of supervisory experience.
