(Description) Construction company focused on underground Septic, Draining, Plumbing, Sewer, and Electrical is currently hiring for a VP of Services. It is a minimum expectation for this individual to have prior/current experience in the Septic/Sewer/Plumbing industry and with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations management. Prior experience managing the operation and its employees are very important as this role will be supervising a team of 30+ employees. The VP of Services is responsible for leadership, oversight, and performance management of field and office support. This includes Septic Repair, Drain Field Repair, O&M Inspections, Property Sales, Septic Tank Pumping, Sewer Repairs, Drain Cleaning, Electrical, and Carpentry. They are also responsible for the facility itself. This is a full time, exempt position, with heavy work demands occurring Monday through Friday. Weekend availability for issue escalation is expected. Pay: $175k/yr. - $225k/yr. (Depending on relevant industry experience, tenure, job title etc.) Location: 100% onsite. Greater Seattle Area. Shift: Standard PST Morning Shift Monday - Friday Direct Placement Opportunity (Permanent) (Key Responsibilities) - Ensure all departments are meeting KPI's and contributing to company growth and revenue goals. - Use analytics, business knowledge, industry best practices, and team member insights that drive profitable results. - Provide teams with leadership and clear direction. Motivate and inspire team members to rally around company objectives. - Ensure teams get the training and support they need to provide quality Septic, Drain Cleaning, Electrical and Sewer work. - Cultivate employee engagement across all departments and promote a healthy work environment. - Provide direct reports with coaching, development, and growth opportunities. - Hold all team members accountable to personal growth, licensing/training, reaching goals and following processes. - Foster a Core Values focused environment via leading by example and discussing Core Values in decision making. - Ensure customer complaints are properly resolved, resulting in quick, favorable resolutions. - Manage annual budget. Control expenses to meet or exceed plan. - Ensure sufficient staff levels to meet revenue goals and customer demand. - Evaluates workloads/personnel schedules to maximize efficiency in profit and customer satisfaction. - Facilitate operations and budget meetings with managers to increase productivity levels. - Oversee facility management and ensure teams have the resources and supplies necessary. - Oversee safety compliance: training, tracking, assessments, OSHA reporting, and incident investigations. - Provide timely insights to the Executive Leadership Team and Ownership. (Job Requirements) - Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a service provider in the field (Septic, Sewer, Plumbing). - Minimum 5+ years of experience of operations management, Service Industry Required (Septic, Sewer, Plumbing). - Ability to communicate effectively - inspire and lead others to attain company goals. - Proven track record of achieving operational excellence through strong people and performance management. - Track record of managing complex work groups across shifts, locations, and experience levels in a Service Industry. - Demonstrated ability to influence change and initiate actions that have strategic impact and drive a high-performance culture. - Strong track record of effectively using analytics to guide optimal operations and quality outcomes. - Highly organized with exceptional follow-through, and quick, sound decision-making abilities. - Excels in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change. - Experience with Service Titan field service management software preferred. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
