Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Vice President, Quality Assurance and Testing II in Pittsburgh, PA, to develop testing plan scenarios for units, processes, functions, integration, and acceptance testing. Responsible for the definition, planning, and execution of testing efforts. Provide technical guidance to assigned project teams. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing Agile methodologies to promote collaboration and adaptability in software development projects; Designing Automated Test framework using appropriate Design Patterns as applicable to the databases of application using Oracle, Vertica, Kudu, and Elasticsearch; Utilizing Java, Selenium, and Python to develop and maintain high-quality software products; Utilizing Cypress to test Angular JS web applications achieving end to end testing with minimal testing timelines; Comparing data between source and target databases in financial systems by writing complex SQL queries; Applying Orthogonal Array Testing Techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness; and Monitoring and Improving data quality by writing SQL queries to identify bad data.
