This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.
We are seeking to hire an experienced individual with a broad fund operations background to provide support and oversight of a private equity focused open ended offering. The candidate will have the opportunity to help grow HarbourVest's private wealth offering. The role will work closely with a wide range of partner groups across both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate is someone who is:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple competing demands and projects
What you will do:
- Open-ended product operations ensuring fund routines are maintained, including liquidity management, oversight of the hedging program, expense management
- Regulatory support including Annex IV, EMIR reporting, CSSF reporting, PRIIPS, and monitoring of future developments and needs in this area
- Governance support to prepare for board meetings, oversight of commercial agreements, working closely legal
- Taking the lead in development and improvements of current and future processes/infrastructure needs
- Support the product specialist and IR team in providing information (RFP's, DDQ's, ODD meetings, investor queries)
- Support the Portfolio Manager as needed to address ongoing needs of the vehicle related to the investment strategy
- Provide strong partnership with HarbourVest Solutions, Investments, QIS, IR, LRC, Tax, Third Party Administration Oversight, Client Experience, Operations, AIFM, and Technology, as well as external providers and advisors
- And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
- Understands the mechanics and inter-dependencies of open-ended funds
- Strong understanding of private markets
- Strong written and oral English communication skills (other language skills nice to have)
- Broad understanding of both fund operations and accounting
- Results oriented individual with excellent organization and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in an area that may not always have established precedents
- Experience of regulated funds
- Understands the private wealth place including intermediary, platform, data vendor relationships
- Excellent presentation skills
- Modelling experience
- Highly proficient with Microsoft, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience
- Finance / Accountancy qualification a plus
Experience:
- 10+ Years fund operations experience, a significant amount of this should be within private markets or private wealth capacity preferred
