Westlake Animal Hospital is a large multi-doctor hospital located just outside of Austin, TX. We have been serving the community for over 50 years and have a very well-established loyal client base. We have a well-equipped facility with a devoted and highly skilled staff. Many services are offered including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and boarding.
As the head of your General Practice, you'll have the guidance and resources to excel as a leader. This includes access to a Medical Initiatives Committee and Thrive Certified Leader Curriculum to become stronger and more equipped to develop your practice.
Who we are looking for
- A strong leader who wants to build a great medical team.
- 3 or more years of experience as a veterinarian.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Sound medical reasoning skills and strong medical ethics.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
