Job description:
Citrix VDI AWS Workspaces Azure VDS Windows patching experience working with and trouble shooting end user issues.
Common tools like SCCM, McAfee, MS Defender Experience with CICD or automation will be added advantage.
We are seeking a skilled VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Administrator to join our dynamic team. The VDI Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our virtual desktop environment. This role requires a strong understanding of virtualization technologies, networking concepts, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VDI platforms, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain VDI solutions to meet business requirements.
Configure and manage virtual desktop pools, including provisioning, updates, and user access.
Monitor VDI performance and capacity, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Implement and maintain VDI security measures, including access controls, data encryption, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VDI with existing systems and applications.
Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDI-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for the VDI environment.
