Job Details

Position: VDC/BIM Coordinator

Responsibilities:

CAD/Revit File Processing:

Process CAD/Revit files to align with company standards for effective coordination.
Navisworks Model Creation and Maintenance:

Create and maintain Navisworks models suitable for field use and coordination meetings, focusing on clash detection.
Engineering Plan Modification and Documentation:

Modify, redesign, and provide comments on engineering plans, preparing comprehensive documentation for construction purposes.
Collaborative Project Team Support:

Collaborate with all project team members, contributing to the achievement of core objectives.
Plan Drafting and Editing:

Draft and edit plans in alignment with the construction team's and end-users' requirements.
Prefabrication Coordination:

Collaborate with the project team to identify and coordinate prefabrication assemblies/components.
Design Document Organization:

Organize and file all design documents systematically after the estimating turnover.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Multiple Years of Experience in Electrical Construction Industry:

Possess several years of experience in a similar role within the electrical construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks:

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for efficient project coordination.
Project Phases Assistance:

Ability to assist with all phases of a project, ranging from schematic design through construction documents.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office:

Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office to support various project-related tasks.
Electrical Field Experience (Plus):

Electrical field experience is considered a strong asset.
Strong Communication, Organization, Teamwork, and Problem-Solving Skills:

Exhibit strong communication, organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills crucial for successful coordination.
