vCIO- Virtual Chief Information Officer

Position Overview:
The vCIO is a SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST and leader within the Account Management team reporting to the VP of Sales while working closely with the CIO and fellow sales and operations team members to grow opportunities within won/existing accounts by identifying IT solutions for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Develop and maintain your accounts' THREE-YEAR ROADMAP, TWO-YEAR PLAN, and ONE YEAR SPEND BUDGET, moving the clients towards great projects, best practices, better security, and more effective use of technology.

•Earn the status of TRUSTED IT/CYBERSECURITY ADVISOR for your 20-30 Named Accounts, knowing your customers' needs, culture, capabilities, limitations, and budget realities to propose effective and profitable technology solutions.

•Know all aspects of Acture's line card of offerings for managed services, networking, cybersecurity, licensing, collaboration tech, and cloud solutions aka "the stack" and participate in improving the stack.

•Schedule quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc meetings with your Named Accounts POCs to effectively listen in order to capture new opportunities and persuade clients to best practices and stack alignment.

•Collaborate with sales team members, senior technicians, key vendors, and Acture site leaders to design, price, and manage your opportunities through the CRM system.

•Learn your accounts' IT budgets, specifically spends on services, licensing, and calculated costs due to inefficiencies.

•Serve as an escalation resource for clients' concerns around Acture's service delivery, project execution, or in times of crisis such as network outages and cybersecurity incidents.

•Assist clients in reviewing and improving connectivity resiliency, backup and disaster recovery, and incident response plans-which might include helping them through cybersecurity audits and tabletop exercises when appropriate.

•Assist the business development team when appropriate to help win new accounts with pre-qualified prospects by demonstrating the value of Acture's approach to account management, account planning, and continuous improvement.

•Help resolve invoicing and payment issues when appropriate, answering questions and knowing what your clients' finance teams need for Acture to be timely paid.

•Stay briefed on your clients' projects and know your clients' expiration items for subscriptions, licensing, and service contract renewals, briefing the client proactively so they feel "fully informed".

Who you are:

•10+ years in IT management with large organizations

•Knowledgeable in large networks

•Skilled with servers and data centers

•Expert-level knowledge or cyber-security best practices

•Familiarity with missed -CSF and CIS controls

•3 years minimum IT budgeting experience

•Experience presenting to boards, executives, and conferences.

•Previous MSP experience preferred.

•Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

•Your attention to detail is one of your most valued traits
•You are well-spoken and love assisting clients and delivering on promises.

•You are strategic minded vs. a break/fix mentality

•You live in the NYC Westchester Region or willing to relocate

Compensation: Acture Solutions is proud to offer an extremely generous and "Employee Forward" compensation program:
