Job Overview: Obtains standard carotid vascular studies, venous studies and arterial studies. Must be familiar with renal dopplers, endografts and venous reflux exams. Communicates with patients, visitors and co-workers, respecting confidentiality. Maintains all equipment. Observes practices consistent with infection control policies. Responsible for record keeping and entering appropriate billing information. Ensures continual quality improvement of patient services. Demonstrates ideals of quality customer service. Participates in continuing education programs. Supports policies and procedures of the department and hospital. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.
