Primary Talent Partners has a 6-month Validation/Metrology Engineer I opening with a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical client located in West Point, PA. Pay range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour based on overall experience.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Validation Engineer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, archiving, and ensuring the accuracy of instrument and equipment documentation. This role requires collaboration with various teams to support equipment qualification, system validation, and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, archive, and maintain instrument/equipment documentation such as master equipment lists, qualification documents, and calibration records.

Verify equipment asset information for accuracy across multiple locations post system migration.

Participate in computer system validation activities for new or upgraded equipment/software packages.

Assist in the purchase, installation, and qualification of new laboratory equipment.

Provide support to Finance for external programs related to equipment.

Collaborate with metrology and validation staff across multiple testing labs and sites for system relocations and optimization activities.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (cGMP) and internal policies and procedures.

Maintain a customer-focused mindset and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

Willingness and ability to quickly upskill in various Facilities/Instrument support programs.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher preferred, with 1-2 years of experience, or 4-5 years of relevant working experience in metrology, information technology, customer service, or related fields.

Experience working in a GMP environment and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Highly organized with strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
