Title: SEO Content Specialist

Job Description:
Education:
SEO training experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience
Work Experiences:
2+ years of SEO-specific experience required
2+ years of long form content writing required
Skills:
Curiosity with a desire to learn new things
Not afraid to ask questions
Knowledge of search engine algorithms and their effects on SERPs
Experience developing and executing creative campaigns that encourage natural in-bound linking
Demonstrated understanding of web analytics such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and KPI's
Familiarity with tools like Search Console, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
High attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and efficient problem solver
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
Utilization of HTML and CSS
Responsibilities:
Write, proofread, and edit long form articles that will be published in our Expert Advice section of the website
You'll work collaboratively with designers, developers, and digital marketing, and work closely with the broader marketing teams to complete your work
Help develop and maintain our content calendar
Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preform keyword/topic research using tools like SEMRush to optimize content (articles, products pages, and category pages)
Assist SEO team members on the execution of tactics and strategies
Utilize reporting and analysis tools to generate reports that track and communicate the business impact of SEO initiatives
Perform competitive analysis and present findings in compelling ways
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
