UX Designer Remote Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a UX Designer for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Advocate for user needs and collaborate with the Product Manager to develop features aligning with those needs.
Create sketches, wireframes, journey maps, storyboards, and other design artifacts to communicate design concepts effectively.
Work with a cross-functional Agile team to define user stories and deliver necessary UX artifacts as part of sprint planning.
Prepare UX documentation, including navigation flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
Define functionality, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, site-maps, and use cases in an agile environment.
Create prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) to communicate micro-interactions and document complex, data-driven experiences.
Produce design deliverables such as sketches, scenarios, and mental models.
Lead brainstorming and sketching sessions with product teams.
Collaborate with UX team members and stakeholders to design based on user, business, and technical considerations.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards, working closely with development teams.
Plan and design responsive and mobile web applications.
Provide and receive UX feedback from peers.
Participate in user research, concept testing, usability testing, and analytics to understand target audiences' needs.
Apply customer feedback to UX deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
5+ years' of experience in UX/UI design
Ability to work independently as the sole designer on the project.
Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
Proficiency in both UX and UI, including Figma, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and design systems.
Proficiency in a variety of design tools, particularly Figma and Miro.

Bachelor's Degree
